Walkiva Terms of Use

Effective Date: July 15, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Walkiva (the “App”). By installing, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Using Walkiva means that you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not accept them, you should not install or use the App. We may revise these Terms when the App, our operations, or legal requirements change. Any revised version will be posted with an updated effective date.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise have the legal capacity required in your location, to agree to these Terms. If local law permits a minor to use the App only with a parent or guardian’s consent, that consent must be obtained before use. Walkiva is intended for lawful, personal, and non-commercial use.

3. User Accounts

You may use the App without registering an account or submitting account credentials. If you obtain the App from a third-party platform, your use of that platform remains subject to its own rules and policies.

4. Service Content

Walkiva provides tools for recording step counts and reviewing walking activity. Results can vary because of device placement, hardware, permissions, operating conditions, and other factors beyond our control. The App is offered for general information and wellness purposes; it is not a medical device and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for using the App lawfully and for deciding how to rely on its activity information. You must not misuse the App, interfere with its normal operation, compromise its security, or prevent others from using it.

6. Intellectual Property

The App—including its software, interface, visual design, text, graphics, and logos—belongs to Walkiva or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any portion of the App without authorization.

7. Privacy Protection

Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in connection with Walkiva. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review that policy.

8. Prohibited Activities

While using Walkiva, you must not:

9. Disclaimers and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walkiva is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or completely accurate operation. Walkiva and its licensors will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the App. These limits do not apply where liability or consumer rights cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

10. Service Changes and Termination

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We may also restrict or end access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the App, or create a security or legal risk. You may stop using the App at any time.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. A dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to a court with lawful jurisdiction where Walkiva’s operator is located, unless mandatory consumer law permits you to bring the matter elsewhere.
